![@bcpowerliftingassociation UBC New Years Powerlifting Championship Athlete Recap: @kabirlifts
One of the two athletes competing at the UBC meet, Kabir. Going into the meet Kabir had a turbulent prep. With the holiday season and going home for the break and arriving back a week before the meet, along with having to cut for the meet it was a tough time managing externals. But we managed to pull together and still hit some PBs and add 20 kilos to his total since Westerns in September.
He had a tough day going 6/9 missing two benches and his final pull. He narrowly missed his last bench and pull.
He is keen to get back into training, and go up a weight class to the u74s.
